Interpower was originally established in 1984, and for over 30 years was a family owned and run business, with a strong reputation for the design, manufacture, and export of generators and associated products to over 70 countries world wide.
In 2017, Interpower became a division of Musgrave Generators, and Interpower's manufacturing was merged into Musgrave generators already existing facility in Daventry, UK. Interpower's parent company Musgrave Generators have been designing and manufacturing generators for over 50 years. All equipment supplied by Musgrave Generators and Interpower is assembled and tested in the UK, using only the highest quality components.

Both Musgrave & Interpower believe in building personal relationships with our customers, we like to find out about their businesses, and power requirements, tailoring and tweaking our generators to suit the installation.
Musgrave is committed to quality and are suppliers to a number of high profile UK M&E contractors, and have a high number of sets in key installations throughout the UK, including police stations, prisons, hospitals, airports, and data centres.
Interpower custom built equipment has been supplied to key military installations around the world, and in recent years have supplied to a number of international military contractors, for British and foreign military applications.
In 2023, GFE Power Products successfully acquired the Musgrave Generators brand including Interpower. GFE Power Products specializes in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of own brand generator sets, engineered to operate reliably in even the most challenging environments worldwide – spanning from Asia to South America, and from the Middle East to Africa. Furthermore, GFE Power Products offers a curated selection of renowned brands, including Caterpillar and Kohler SDMO. Formerly headquartered in Daventry, Northamptonshire, Musgrave Generators will now maintain its prominent status within the generator industry. Its operations have transitioned to Pershore, Worcestershire, where it operates in partnership with sister companies GFE Power Products and Generators For Export.
