Interpower are here to help

Once you have taken delivery of your Interpower generator, there are a number of other services Interpower can assist with.

Installation

Making sure your generator is installed correctly will ensure it is fit to serve its purpose for many years to come. Allowing Interpower to carry out the generator installation, will give you the peace of mind that the generator is installed within the manufacturers guidelines, and should a fault occur, poor installation will not affect the warranty.

In countries where it is financially prohibitive for staff to travel to site and install the generator, our experienced team are on hand to advise installation best practices. This can include details for foundation requirements, fuel pipe specifications & sizing requirements, exhaust runs & back pressure calculations, and cable connection & integration details.

For UK on-site work, all personnel are registered CSCS cardholders

Commissioning & On-SIte Training

Interpower are keen to ensure the customer is happy with their generator, and prior to handover & the generator going into service, we encourage our customers to have Interpower commission the installation.

This covers signing off the installation, and confirming it meets the standards recommended by the component manufacturers, and that the overall system is fit for purpose.

Commissioning also includes on-site installation specific functionality tests, and minor control system calibration to integrate the generator into it's role as prime power or backup power provider. As part of our commissioning service we also provide operational training to end users.

Spares

As an OEM, Interpower have a wide knowledge of all engine & alternator manufacturers. This not only allows Interpower to supply spare parts for their own generators, but also parts & support for all other generator makes.

Interpower carry 1000's of parts for all engine & alternator makes at any one time, and in many cases can get parts delivered direct to site in the shortest time, to minimize system downtime.

Service & Maintenance

The key to a reliable generator installation, is service & maintenance. No one can expect a poorly maintained generator to perform at its best when it is called upon, when it has not been regularly serviced.

Interpower offer service contracts on UK projects, taking the responsibility of scheduled maintenance away from the end user, and leaving them to get on with managing their day to day business.

Interpower generator servicing can cover all aspects of your installation, from basic engine maintenance through to fuel storage and electrical distribution system cover.

A properly planned maintenance schedule will reduce the costs incurred when your generator fails to start in an outage. Contact our service team for details service@interpower.co.uk
